Privacy notice · Updated October 17, 2026

Your information. A clear picture.

This notice covers the Cache Distribution website and its browser edition of SonicForge. Separate deployed products may have different data practices and need their own notices.

Who operates this website

Cache Distribution, LLC, Sacramento, California. To contact the website operator about privacy, use the inquiry form and select “Privacy request.”

Information you submit

The inquiry form stores your name, email address, optional company, selected topic, message, submission reference, and submission time. We use these details to evaluate and respond to your request. The form does not enroll you in marketing emails or create a product account. Please do not send payment details, government identifiers, health information, employee records, or confidential production data.

Inquiries are stored in the website’s Cloudflare D1 database. This website does not expose a public inquiry list. A saved confirmation means your message was recorded; it does not mean a person has reviewed it.

Local music and preferences

SonicForge reads the audio files you select in your browser. The player does not upload their contents to Cache Distribution. It remembers sound settings and favorite track identifiers in browser storage; favorite identifiers can contain a file’s name, size, and modification time. The website also remembers your motion preference. The audio queue itself is not saved between sessions.

You can clear these preferences below or through your browser’s site-data controls. This only affects the current browser and website origin. Clear data separately if you use another Cache Distribution domain.

Hosting, cookies, and tracking

The website uses Sites and Cloudflare hosting. The separately hosted cachedistribution.us domain uses Firebase as a gateway. Those providers process network information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and secure the service under their own terms and settings.

The application does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics, cross-site tracking, or a sale/sharing-for-advertising feature. It does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control because the application has no advertising sale/share processing to opt out of. Hosting-level cookies and logs are managed by the providers; browser preference storage is described above.

Retention and requests

Saved browser preferences remain until you clear them or your browser removes them. Submitted inquiries remain in the inquiry database until the operator removes them; the current form has no automatic deletion schedule. Hosting log and backup retention is governed by the provider settings.

You may ask to access, correct, or delete an inquiry through the inquiry form. Select “Privacy request” and include your submission reference if available. Verification may be needed before records are released or changed. Please do not submit identity documents through this form. Applicable rights, exceptions, and response deadlines depend on your location and the law that applies.

Children and sensitive information

This website is intended for professional inquiries and general product exploration, not for children under 13. The form does not request children’s information. If a child has submitted personal information, contact us through the privacy-request option so it can be reviewed.

Changes to this notice

Material changes will be described on this page with an updated date. This revision adds the inquiry data inventory, local-storage controls, hosting disclosure, and privacy-request route. Review this notice before sending new information.
